Two-factor authentication
Two-factor authentication is an extra layer of security, protecting your account from unwelcome logins. Should you like to activate it in the Lipscore account, take the following steps. Note: This function is activated per user, not for all users of the account. Each user needs to activate it individually.
How to activate two-factor authentication
1. Log into your Lipscore account, click your name in the top right corner and proceed to Profile

2. In your profile, hit the Enable Two-Factor Authentication (SMS) button

3. In the next step, fill out your phone country code with or without +, so: +47 or 47 and then your phone number. Please note that one number can only be used for one user. Hit Save.

4. You will immediately receive a 6-digit authentication code to the provided phone number. Note: the code will be valid for 10 minutes. If you fail to use it in this period, new code will be generated and sent to you automatically.

Copy it into the 2FA confirmation code (SMS) field and Confirm. You will be signed out.

5. Sign back into your Lipscore account. Enter the 2FA code that comes in an SMS.

6. You’re back in! And the 2FA is now activated for your user in Lipscore. You can disable it by clicking the Disable Two-Factor Authentication (SMS) button in your user profile.
