If you are operating multiple webshops and some products offered in your webshops overlap, Syndication is a no-brainer. Syndicating reviews across webshops means showing customer feedback on the same products across all your websites.

Important: The prerequisite for Syndication to work are matching ProductIDs, SKUs or GTINs in the Lipscore integration. If none of these attributes is common for the same product sold in the same store, unless integration is updated to meet this criterion, Syndication will not be possible.

How to activate Syndication feature?

Syndication will be automatically available in your Lipscore accounts if you have a Master account with several sub-accounts.

How to set up Syndication?

Go to Settings – General – System settings – Product review syndication. There are a few options to be set up – 2 if only product reviews feature is activated in your account or 4 if you are collecting service reviews as well. By default, Syndication will be turned off in all your accounts.

Let’s assume you have 2 websites: Website A, website B. You are logged into the account connected with Website A.

• Product review syndication – sharing: set to YES if you want product ratings and reviews from website A to be displayed on Website B.
• Product review syndication – display shared: set to YES if you want product ratings and reviews from website B to be displayed on website A.

Analogically, set up Service reviews indication.

• Service review syndication – sharing: set to YES if you want service ratings and reviews from website A to be displayed on Website B.
• Service syndication – display shared: set to YES if you want service ratings and reviews from website B to be displayed on website A.

Important: Syndication needs to be turned on and configured in all the subaccounts that should share reviews.

In the setting Product review syndication identifiers choose which attribute should be used for syndicating your reviews: Product ID (internal_id on the backend, data-ls-product-id in the widget), SKU or GTIN.

By default, information about the website the review was originally written for will be displayed at the bottom of each syndicated review.
