We offer an out-of-box set of widgets that can be used as they are, with no customizations at all. Go to Widgets > Documentation to find the previews of all default widgets in the Widgets documentation in your Lipscore account.

However, design preferences vary from customer to customer and we offer various solutions to accomodate these preferences.

Basic customization of the rating widgets

Star Settings

Rating widget style refers to the widget that is usually implemented at the top of product pages. Here, you can choose from 2 widget formats (compact and big), 4 available colors (red, yellow, blue and black), and 4 shapes of stars.

Small rating widget style refers to the widget usually implemented on category pages and product gallery snippets on the homepage. Here you can choose from two widget formats: a row of stars that indicates the average product score or one star with its average score next to it. You also have the option to display the number of ratings next to the star.

Physical Store Settings

Small service rating widget style is the same type of widget as the one above for products, but this is used for Service Reviews, typically used to display the avarage rating on a spesific physical store. If you are selling in physical stores and are using our Physical store widgets, the Small service rating widget can be customized in the same way as the Small rating widget for products: You can choose from two widget formats: a row of stars that indicates the average product score or one star with its average score next to it. You also have the option to display the number of ratings next to the star.

Basic customization of widgets in CSS

For simple CSS customizations you can reach out to our Support and we will be happy to make the changes for you, free of charge. These include:

• changing the color of stars to one of your preference
• changing the color of the arch in the Service reviews badge / Service reviews testimonial banner
• removing the frame around the Service reviews testimonial banner
• changing the color of the text and logo to white when widgets are placed on dark backgrounds

Advanced customization of widgets in CSS

Located at the bottom of Global Widget Settings, you will find Theme Settings where you can find some styles of Lipscore widgets, you can edit them or add new. Regarding the scope of changes you can make to the Lipscore widgets, CSS is the limit. This means that whatever is achievable with use of CSS, can be applied to our widgets.

If you wish to further style the widgets on your website, you may request it from your tech team or reach out to our support team with a request for quote. The team will get back to you with a quote for approval. The price for advanced customization is 1450 nok per hour.
