Attributes syndication
The Attributes syndication feature lets you display attribute scores on products and services across multiple websites. This article explains how to activate and configure attributes syndication in your Lipscore accounts.
First of all, Syndication needs to be activated in your Lipscore accounts. Go to Settings > General > System settings > Syndication and turn it to YES in each account.
For product review syndication:

For service review syndication:

2. Next, go to Attributes in the menu and select which type of attributes you want to set up (product, service or customer attributes) to open the Attributes configuration page.
For existing attributes
Click the activation toggle to activate syndication on the selected attribute.

Once you do, you will see this popup:

When you activate syndication, our system scans all your subaccounts for attribute of the same Name, with the same number of Values on the Scale. When it finds them, it automatically syndicates matching attributes into a Syndication group presented in the popup (screenshot above) and assigns them the same Syndication ID – in the example above, “truetosize”.
Should you like to only syndicate an attribute across 2 out of 3 subsites, simply deselect the one you don’t want syndicated by switching off the toggle and close the box.

Note: It is possible to change the Syndication ID to add attributes with different names to the same Syndication group – all of them should then have the same Syndication ID. However, changing this ID is a sysadmin setting. Should you need to do it, please contact our Support or your Customer Success Manager.
For new attributes
- Create a new attribute – note: make sure to add translations if you want to include them before you syndicate this attribute to other subaccounts.
- Next to the created attribute, click the toggle to activate syndication.

3. A popup will open showing you the Syndication group. You will now see that the Syndication group contains only one subsite where you created the attribute.

But you will also see the list of your other subsites you can copy the attribute to. Simply click Copy next to relevant subaccounts.

The attribute will automatically be added to the other subaccounts and syndicated.

You may then simply Close the popup.
The attributes will have to be assigned to the proper categories in each individual subaccount.
Should you have any questions about the feature, don’t hesitate to reach out to your Customer Success Manager.
