Zendesk Integration

  1. Create API credentials in Zendesk (user and password), and request an integration from our support team.
  2. In Zendesk Admin Center, go to ‘Objects and rules’ > Tickets > Fields, create a new field and save. Repeat that step for fields:
    – product ID,
    – product category,
    – product URL,
    – customer name,
    – customer email.

3. Each field has an ID – share the list of names and IDs with your onboarding manager.

4. Obtain  header secret created during integration from your onboarding manager.

5. In Zendesk Admin Center, go to ‘Apps and integrations’ > Webhooks, and set up ‘Comment created’ webhook. The endpoint URL should be https://integrations.lipscore.com/api/integrations/zendesk/<your_member_site_id>/webhook. Choose authentication type of ‘API Key’, use ‘Lipscore’ for the header name and the header secret which you obtained earlier.

Once this is completed, please inform your onboarding manager and send them all the required credentials and information. You can specify if you would like to receive both Reviews and Questions as tickets, or only one of these. Lipscore integrations team will enable the integration for you and confirm once it is completed.
