Lipscore x QuickButik Implementation Guide

Introduction 

This guide will explain to you how to implement Lipscore on your QuickButik website. Your day to day interaction with Lipscore will be through your own Lipscore account. You can log into your account here: https://members.lipscore.com 

This is what you need

  • Access to the source code of your website
  • A valid user account with Lipscore.com
  • The API keys (codes that identify your site in the Lipscore network) which can be found in the Settings – General – API settings after logging in on https://members.lipscore.com/login 
  • Information on which widgets should be implemented on the website, and possibly the preferred placements
  • Widgets library

Steps to activate Lipscore backend integration

1. Log in to your Quickbutik account.  

  • Create a webhook in Quickbutik backend (Settings > Webhooks > Create webhook). Enter a title of the webhook, in the links text area enter webhook link: https://quickbutik.lipscore.com/webhooks/orders?api_key=”LIPSCORE_API_KEY”, (LIPSCORE_API_KEY can be found in Lipscore backend > Settings > General > API settings)
    Example: https://quickbutik.lipscore.com/webhooks/orders?api_key=f12b2780eb667bbca8f876c8 
  • Check Use secret key? checkbox and choose events: order.done and order.cancelled and click Save changes button.  
  • After a webhook has been saved a security key will be visible under Use secret key? checkbox. Save this one, it will be used in step 3. 

 2. Create a personal read only API token in Quickbutik backend (Settings > API > Create new API Key). Save this one, it will be used in step 3. 

 3. The last step needs to be finished by your Onboarding Manager in Lipscore. Send your Quickbutik API Key + Security Key to your Onboarding Manager or [email protected].  

4. After receiving a confirmation from your Onboarding Manager that the integration has been successful, make a test order in your shop and mark the order as “Completed”.

5. Log into your Lipscore account, go to Invitations and check that an invitation for your test order is scheduled. 

Frontend integration – widgets 

You can now proceed to adding widgets according to your / customer’s preferences. All the available Lipscore widgets can be found in the Widgets library. For mockups of how widgets may look on customers’ pages, refer to this article about Product widgets and this article about Service widgets.

When widgets are installed, go again to your Lipscore account – Invitations, send the previously scheduled invitation to yourself by clicking the Send now button, check your inbox and leave a review. Check if your review is displayed in the widget.
