Introduction 

This guide will explain to you how to implement Lipscore on your Prestashop website. Your day to day interaction with Lipscore will be through your own Lipscore account. You can log into your account here: https://members.lipscore.com 

Requirements: 

• PrestaShop version 1.7.7.2 
• PrestaShop default theme Classic
• The module might work with other versions, but there is no guarantee for this. If not, API or Purchase widget integration will be required.

This is what you need

• Prestashop plugin
• Access to the source code of your website
• A valid user account with Lipscore.com
• The API keys (codes that identify your site in the Lipscore network) which can be found in the Settings – General – API settings after logging in on https://members.lipscore.com/login 
• Information on which widgets should be implemented on the website, and possibly the preferred placements
• (optionally) Widgets library

After installing Lipscore to your Prestashop webshop, the app will require configuration as explained in the steps below.

Steps to activate Lipscore

1. Download the module zip-file from Github

2. Log into your PrestaShop back-office and navigate to Modules > Module

3. In the upper right corner click Upload a module.[

Drag and drop the module zip-file onto the window that opened.

After some seconds you should see the notification “Module installed”. Click the Configure button. 

4. Inside the module configuration page you will be asked to insert API-key and Secret API-key. Go to your Lipscore account > Settings > General > API settings. Copy and paste the API keys to respective fields. Note: Be careful not to include spaces in the code.

5. Select the order-state you want automatic review invitations to be scheduled by, as well as the preferred identifier for your products. In most cases order-state Delivered and Product-reference is recommended, and only needs to be changed if you know exactly what you are doing and why.

Note: The invitations will not be immediately sent out when the specified orderstate is reached. You can configure in the Lipscore account the number of days between orderstate is reached and when the invitation is sent (Settings – Invitation setup – Product invitation delay (and/or Service invitation delay, depending on features activated in your account)), 

6. Under Placements you can select what widgets that should be used. Try them all and observe the changes in your PrestaShop Front-office.

Note: if you do not use the Classic theme, widgets may not show up. However, it is possible to add these widgets or other widgets available in the Lipscore widgets library manually in the customer’s Prestashop theme or with other “place content anywhere”-type-modules. You can see all Lipscore widgets codes and previews in the Widgets library.

7. After clicking Save you should see the following text to get confirmation that everything is set up correctly: ⭐️ LipScore API is now in communication with your webshop!

Widgets 

As mentioned before, the Prestashop app automatically injects only some of the widgets Lipscore has to offer and the injection is only guaranteed in the Classic Theme. To add these widgets or try other widgets available in the Lipscore widgets library, you can manually add them in the webshop’s Prestashop theme or with other “place content anywhere”-type-modules. All the available Lipscore widgets can be found in the Widgets library. Testing the integration

Test the integration following these instructions. If everything works as expected, send a confirmation email to the customer and Onboarding manager that the integration is completed.
