Lipscore x BigCommerce implementation guide
Introduction
This guide will provide step-by-step instructions on how to implement Lipscore on your BigCommerce store. Your day-to-day interaction with Lipscore will be managed through your own Lipscore account. Access your account by visiting: https://members.lipscore.com.
This is what you need
Some requirements to use Lipscore’s Bigcommerce app:
- Lipscore app: https://www.bigcommerce.com/apps/lipscore-ratings-reviews/
- Valid user account with us and log in at https://members.lipscore.com
Installing the Lipscore app
Install the app by following the instructions in the Bigcommerce marketplace.
App configuration
Open the app by locating it under Apps > My Apps.

General
- Select the storefront where Lipscore should be installed on. If Lipscore should be installed on all storefronts select “Default”.
- Click active to turn on the integration.
- Input the Store URL of the appropriate store. This will be where customers arrive when recieving invitations to review services.
- Select the status of an order that should trigger an invitation to be scheduled in the Lipscore system.
- Select the language that widgets and reviews should be presented in.
- Select the product id which you use to identify your products. This helps us to match products on the frontend with the reviews collected in the backend.
- Submit/save changes.

Configuration
- On the configuration page, you need to provide your public and private Lipscore API keys. The API key and the Secret key are what identifies you in the Lipscore network. In your Lipscore account go to Settings > General > API settings.

- Input the keys and save changes.
- initialize script -> This will inject the script into the head of all the pages of the store front. This isrequired to assure that widgets are correctly loaded with review data.

Place the widgets
- Select the widget you would like to place on the store front page. e.g. product review widget -> rating widget.
- Copy the code structure: <div>… </div>.

- Navigate to channel manager and select the storefront where you want to place the widget

- Either: Where pages exist in the theme editor, you can place an html snippet and paste the code structure you copier in step two.

- OR: Navigate to “Edit theme files” and select the template you would like e.g. product.

- AND Paste the code you copied in step two into the desired location.

Testing
Test the integration following these instructions. If everything works as expected, send a confirmation email to the customer and Onboarding manager that the integration is completed.
